It isn't until I'm tracking every ...I know! It isn't until I'm tracking every bite that I realize just how many I take in without realizing it. So many times while making this cake I'm working on, I nearly licked frosting off my fingers or tasted the cake balls I made with the cake tops (of course that would have begun a cake ball frenzy as I can never eat just a taste). But I stopped myself b/c those calories just weren't worth recording. Especially when I can eat a piece of fruit for no points! I like Lauren from Healthy Food For Living's mission, as stated on facebook: "Finding a healthy balance between living to eat and eating to live." We should enjoy eating, but definitely should not live for it! My meals and snacks are all planned. teeth get brushed, water drunk. And that's it. Nothing again until either a tea break or a planned meal. Saying no to offers of this and that...easy now. Having the "no, it's not meal or snack time, so no" habit is great.<br /><br />You're aware. YOu're dealing with it.
