Time for the update on the Fall 15. Just a reminder to all, the Fall 15 started a few weeks back and the goal is to lose 15 lbs. by December 20th. Updating on Mondays to keep track of everyone. Well, apparently I misread the rules.
We're suppose to LOSE weight??!!
OOOOOOOHHHHHHHH!!!
That makes more sense. Here I have been GAINING all this time.
Ha ha.
Enough joking. Time to step away from the fun size chocolate bars and get serious. Here are the depressing results of this challenge so far.
Start 239.4
Week 3 - 240.8
Gain 1.4
Pound to lose by December 20th = 16.4 lbs.
is that a daunting task? Yes, but is it undoable? Nope. Just buckle down and get to getting!! If there is anything at all I can do to help, let me know!
ReplyDeleteAt least you are able to keep a little humor about you. As you know, I am no stranger to frustrating gains, but we can both turn this around. Let's have a great week!
ReplyDeleteYes, it is very do-able. Drink the water. Move the body. Get the sweets out of the house. Give the kids fruit instead, even raisins.
ReplyDeleteLet's get with it, sister!
ha ha - i'm liking the sense of humour here. Those darn fun-size choccy bars! I picked one up in a shop last week and the nutrition data on the back said 49 calories for the whole thing (a mini-snickers) and i thought "...cool! I can have some choccy fun and still be good...", then the more sensible, school-masterly, drill-sergeant(ly) voice shouted at me so i put it down again - i've only been at this weight-loss malarkey for just under 8 weeks and don't think i can really trust myself to stop at just one bar yet - i reckon it would be the start of a slippery slope for me.
ReplyDeleteI'm still not sure a succulent, juicy apple can ever completely satisfy the desire for sugary snacks, but it's getting a bit easier to say no to crap each day. Still plenty of time until December 20th, so i'm sure you can get down by 15 now that you've decided to get stricter with yourself.
Good luck.
good luck.... you can do it..
ReplyDeleteI'm not doing the Fall 15 but am doing the Hot 100 and my scale seems to be going in the wrong direction too. Sigh. Such a struggle. Daily. Vee at http://veegettinghealthy.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteI am on my own challenges and wish you luck with the Fall 15.. .you can do this.. you know what to do.. one thing I am doing this year differently is keeping all Halloween candy out of the house until right before it is needed.. left overs will be dumped... I know it is hard.. but you can do this !
ReplyDeleteExercise, exercise, exercise! Walk twice a day for 20 minutes ... very easy! It is the key to get your metabolism rate up.
ReplyDeleteHave a couple of pieces of hard candy to suck on to stop your sugar cravings.
I have always been small, but I have always watched my weight and walked. I'm 48 years old and weigh 105 pounds ... it works!
