Day 3 ~ Body By Vi 90 Day Challenge ~ 6/3/12

Weekends typically stink when it comes to dieting. I've been there. So often we're running around and have no idea what we'll be eating for lunch and if we're out later than expected, we'll just "grab something quick" for dinner.  For a long time, we stopped doing that, we did really well.  That changed.  We've been eating out. A lot.  Spending way too much money and eating too much and not healthy at all.

That's got to change again.  We grabbed McDonalds. Again.

Breakfast - Shake with 1/2 apple and cinnamon
Snack - A few pecans and leftover veggies in the fridge
Lunch - Shake with 1/4 sugar free pudding packet, chocolate fudge. Yum.
Snack - Few bites of sons spaghetti
Dinner - McChicken from McDonalds.
Snack - Popcorn from movie theater.  Ate too much.

We went to go see Hunger Games late last night.  It was kinda a last minute thing, everyone was hungry so we all grabbed a McChicken from McDonalds. I shouldn't have gotten one.  Not only did it have gluten that I don't need, I just want to stop eating out!
I've had a few people ask me about the shakes and the Body By Vi shakes are really good. I mean really, really good.  I've been having fun adding different flavors to them but they don't necessarily need them.  The only thing that I do like is adding ice, it makes it colder.  But the flavor of the plain mix is great, it's like vanilla but sweet like cake mix.  Not chalky, dry or bad at all.

  1. Good morning Deb. It's a learning experience my friend and that was what yesterday was. Now you know you have to plan a bit better and pack a snack to help make it through the afternoon till you get home for something better for you or eat a darn salad at McDonalds. Not my favorite thing from there but better then other choices. But todays a new day and for me day one of my challenge. For me I'm not doing the scale except for yesterdays weigh in but I am counting calories and moving my butt. Just like I did when I lost my 1st 50 lbs and then stopped. So I know what I have to do and it's time to just do it. I will be here rutting for you. Good luck Deb and your daughter. Take care and God Bless!!

  2. Make a plan in advance-stick to it! Taking things as they come make it harder to make healthy decisions.
