Snacking is continuing to be a problem. I made a dessert today for a family picnic and I sampled way too many chocolate chips. It's dumb stuff like that, that I keep doing. Grr.
I figure with the stupid chocolate chips, I came in at about 1900 calories. Those little buggers pack a lot of calories when you are taking small handfulls of them!
Tomorrow won't be the greatest of days either. We're literally going to be gone from 7 am until after fireworks at 10. Long day and eating out!!! I'll try to make good choices!
I feel you, sister. I bake constantly b/c not only do I sell cakes on the side, I also make treats for all the people at our Church when they have a birthday. And it is nearly impossible to keep my hands out of whatever I'm making. Licking the beaters, licking the bowl, licking my fingers when I "accidentally" get frosting on them. But I do find that tracking what I eat, every single BLT (bite, lick, and taste), helps me keep on top of it and I don't indulge as much when I know I'm going to have to take some cals out of my dinner or will be over my cals for the day if I keep shoveling in the frosting.
