I wrote this long, depressing post yesterday and then came home late and forgot to post it.  I re-read it this morning and deleted it. It was pretty whiny.  I've been impatient. Wanting instant results.  Logically, I know this isn't going to happen. Still, when the scale doesn't move a bit - it's frustrating.  So I'll stop the whining, stay on track and be patient.

Yesterday's Eats were on track as well.  Mostly consisted of leftovers.

Today's Eats:

Breakfast Burrito = 180
   Whole wheat tortilla, egg beaters & salsa
Yogurt - 100
Turkey Sandwich = 250
Baby Carrots = 60
Vitatop = 100
Pulled Pork Sandwich = 300
Fuji Apple w/ PB2 = 150

Total 1140 calories
Plenty of water
Exercise = check

  1. Hang in there, Debbi. I am going through the same thing. It isn't much fun, but we'll get through this.

  2. Exercise change up, maybe? Plateaus suck.

  3. Impatience with the scale is common. Instant gratifaction is hard to get over.

  4. Hide the scale if you have to- don't let it get to you!!

  5. Hi There,

    I just started following you and I love your blog. Please join my weight loss blog and lets support eachother!

    Awesome job on your success!
    See you soon,

  6. I've done that before. Drafted a whiny post and then not posted it...but more often than not, I do, unfortunately for my poor readers. Maybe I should call it "my big fat whiny blog" instead of "going down"==lol. I understand the frustration of doing everything right and the scale not moving and I always whine about it! You are allowed. :) Congratulate yourself on what is going right and how you feel compared to how you used to and as you keep truckin' along, the results will show.

  7. Ditto here. Pretty much the same number day in and day out and not much change since P4 started.

    It's awful. Whine if ya wanna...then just keep doing your good eating thing, exercising thing.

    It's hard to be patient when there is a freaking public weigh-in every week...cause it implies we didn't do what we needed to do--even if WE DID!

    Solidarity! We'll get past this, too!
