I've been eating junkie all weekend. It got a BIT better today but not that good. I'm not tracking, I'm only vaguely calculating in my mind. *sigh*
I've been even getting behind on my recipe blog. I used to carefully calculate all the calories and post them but now, I'm writing recipes up a week after I make them and I'm not remembering the changes I've made so I can't calculate calories all the time.
In a nutshell. I'm getting sloppy. Time to kick it into gear. I know, I know. I've been saying that for months.
It really needs to happen though. Soon.
Tired. Off to bed. :-)
stop saying and start doing! I know as well as you do that you have it in you! Just dig it out and start using it again!!
ReplyDeleteIt can be really hard to get back on track one you get off, but when you get started you'll be so glad! I know you can do it.
ReplyDeleteDebbi, how about setting a mini-goal? Try for just one day to eat only healthy food, within your calorie target. And drink your water. I would bet that you will feel better and want to do it for the next day, too.
ReplyDeletedon't beat yourself up ... today is a new day
ReplyDeleteHi from the HOT 100. I can't wait to look thru some of your recipies. I am always looking for new ideas. Weekends are hard.
ReplyDeleteSide note - Have you ever considered switching to intuitive eating as opposed to calorie counting. I wrote a post about the stages of weight loss here http://findingfitme.blogspot.com/2010/07/food-journals-most-effective-weight.html.
Tracking makes me bat crazy, I fail, give up then don't loose. Most of this year I have been just eating whole foods on the lower carb side. I don't track. It is so freeing.
Just my 2 cents from another side of the coin.
I posted about goals today, so that inspired me to suggest my two cents...why not make weekly goals to get in the groove again?
